Mütter Museum Book

paging through the mutter museum book, jorge just said that he thinks this little guy is cute.

at least if our kids are born as a cyclops or with belly button genitalia i know he'll still be a most loving father.

I am Scared of here, too!

Aw, I can see you two standing over Little "Button" in his crib. "Honey, he has your...general..head...shape..."

Now, not to get all Crazy Mom Lady but - those defects and other bad ones like Spina Bifida and cleft palates and some child hood cancers are most often caused by a lack of folic acid in the mom's system. So, if you are going to be having babies, start taking them folic acid pills before you get knocked up!

For sure, I was part of a folic acid study (all of things) so I am Ms.Folic Acid Advocate. By the way I checked out the Mutter (I can't do the cool dot-dot thing over the u) Museum's website. I love oddities and weirdness! Who doesn't though, right? I used to have a "Book of Oddities" - my favorite pic was a very fancy 1920's lady with no arms who was smoking a cigarette, as posh as can be, with her foot.

Note to self: Dont visit Beth's blog before bedtime. This is what we in the business like to call "Nightmare Fuel"

That little guy looks like "Buttface" from "Star Wars."

how does it eat?!

It doesn't eat or breathe. No nose either.

(word verification this time is "falic". Apparently Blogger spells things phonetically.)

My dog's got no nose.

Really, how does it smell?

Terrible.

I find it hard to believe that is an actual photo and not a photo from the "Globe."

I live in Philly and I gotta say the Mutter museum is one of the cooleest places on earth! In addition to seeing belly button genetalia, you can also see the WORLDS BIGGEST COLON and entire dresser filled with items found in peoples digestive system during autopsies- straight pins, dice etc. I highly recommend that you check it out if you're ever in town!

When i stumbled upon this little guy, it freeked me out, i almost could not bear looking at him. But when i read your post it made me laugh, so funny and so true, (you are lucky to have found a man like that). I wish you guys healthy and 'normal' babies when your time comes though.
