Lost Live: The Final Celebration

We went to the Lost Live: The Final celebration event on Thursday night in LA. It was definitely bittersweet. Just having the word "final" in the title of the event made me sad!

Seeing Giacchino perform the Lost music (and the Up! theme) was the best part of the evening. I get goosebumps hearing it live and it was a good thing that I brought along some tissues in the pockets of my dress because when Giacchino played "Life and Death" I cried almost as much as I do every time I see the Electrical Parade at Disneyland!

There was a long red carpet with lots of press, but I was really disappointed that there wasn't a fan section there. Usually at premieres and things like this there is one, but I think the fact that the red carpet was located on a balcony made that difficult.

After the red carpet stuff Jorge's publicist handed me an envelope with my ticket in it. It was an Oceanic boarding pass! Very cool.

And check out my seat number!!!! I think it means I'm the candidate! (Although, it would have been even more rad to get seat #22).

Did you check anyone else's seat number? I'll bet everyone got one of the numbers as a seat number.

The score for UP..man. I was a 23 year old guy crying behind my 3D glasses through parts of that movie. How sad is that? And this is the same reason I'll be watching the finale alone. Hope things go well with Jorge and your writing in the future.

It WAS an awesome event! I also started tearing up at Life and Death, there is definitely something moving about hearing the music performed live. Thanks for getting Jorge to come over and wave to us crazy screaming fans across the way. I was so glad to have been a part of it!

Wooow!!! that's awesome!!!
Everything I hear the music, I start feeling depress... I have not idea what I'm going to do without lost, Can't imagine you guys, after 6 years of living lost, in the island, with all the stage.
I wish Mexican's fans can have some of this, I mean having the cast over in somepoint, some of them, I'm dying to meer Jorge too. Hugo Reyes is my fav character. When Sun & jin died, I cried only because Hurley did... =(
I'll miss Hugo just as much as I'll miss Sawyer =P

I assume you've seen the headline from the Daily Mail's story from the event: "Larger than life Lost star Jorge Garcia brings his pint-sized girlfriend along to cast party." I thought it was hilarious.

It IS sad to see it come to an end. You know, a lot like high school. Just kidding.

I was there, too! But no cool seat number. lol. It was so wonderful, the whole thing. I was in the group of people who waited for autographs at the end. Was so fun to see you and Jorge, Beth! (And my sweet little Nestor Carbonell - ;) Your dress was gorgeous, girl!

I think I read Giacchino played the Oceanic 6 theme as well. I would have been a wreck to hear that live. That one absolutely guts me and kills me. I really hope to hear it during the finale - preferably for last scene. I managed to figure it out on my old keyboard. :) Thanks for sharing about your cool evening! You guys look great!

You totally rocked the red carpet! I saw you in it on the ABC.com video of the event. You are becoming a celeb in your own right Sidekick22.
