It had always been a dream of mine to stay at The Grand Californian because of its being right in the park and this time my dream came true :) We could see California Adventure from our room!

Over at Disneyland we rode the Matterhorn FOUR times in a row! I love that Yeti beast!
And we made funny faces on Splash Mountain.
We had dinner at The Blue Bayou which is the restaurant inside the Pirates of the Caribbean. I got the surf and turf. Mmmmmm.
In front of the entrance to California Adventure are giant letters that spell out "California". Most people take pictures standing inside the "O" or the "A", or standing on the "C". But Kathy felt bad for the "I" because she figured it was the most neglected letter for being so boring and straight. So we took a pic with it to make it feel better about itself.

Can you imagine if you did barf with that shield in front of you? Is it to prevent people from spitting on passersby below?
When we went to Disney World with my sister and brother-in-law back when the kids were little they rode in the car behind us when we went on Big Thunder Mountain. I had the video camera rolling. Recorded my big 6'+ tall brother-in-law screaming like a banshee on the ride. Too funny.
What a fun trip-I adore Disney.
I've never been to Ca before, maybe someday.
I love the picture of Splash Mtn.
Your brother is a character!
I was 14 years old last time I got out to Disney in California. I really want to get back there someday soon.
Disneyland is the most Awesome place in our universe!
But where does the barf go?
I am jealous.
We enjoy the Blue Bayou when we are there, too. Glad to see you all had a wonderful time! Also loved Jorge's dis(ney)guise :)
I love Disneyland so much. I go there about 4 times a year. Thank goodness for annual passes! Looks like a great trip :)
I have to ask.. what is that thing you're eating in your surf and turf meal? Looks like a giant isopod. Do people actually eat those? The little ones crawl out from under rotten logs and into my pool. Very annoying. I've never considered them to be a source of food.
