The Bahamas

We got checked in at The Cove which is just west of the Royal Towers at Atlantis. We had a great view of the water park from our hotel room. We spent many hours going on water slides and lounging in tubes on the river but I have no pics because we forgot our underwater camera :(

As soon as we walked into Atlantis they made me queen! I willingly accepted the new title and immediately began ordering people around.

Then we set off to explore the lost city of Atlantis at "The Dig", an exhibit in the Royal Towers that makes you feel like Indiana Jones!

The "Band From TV" concert was awesome. Jorge did such a fantastic job belting out "Mustang Sally" and "Shake Your Tailfeather" with Bob Guiney.

On our last night we had dinner at Nobu. I had always heard about how amazing it is but never actually eaten at one until then. And oh my lordy b. It was delicious. The best meal of my life by far. (Sorry, Roy's.) Here is a pic of me with carrot tempura in the shape of an "N" for Nobu.

Oh man, I have not been to Nassau in years. I miss that place. A friend of our family used to teach at the University there so we were able to stay with her when we would visit. Those were good times.

Love the photo of Jorge looking at the aquarium.

I know you denied loudly it in a previous post but the ring on your finger speaks louder. If that's what it looks like it is, my most sincere congratulations to you and Jorge. You both deserve all the happiness.

BTW, what kind of underwater camera do you have. I'm in the market for one before Hubs and I go to Bermuda next month. I'm waffling between the underwater Canon and the underwater Olympus. Can't decide. The Canon is slightly bigger but I have already had two Canons and I am familiar with the operations but the Olympus is smaller, offers the same features and has a wider angle lens for getting in closer which apparently matters in underwater photography.
