the name originated from a guy in san jose who took a pic of jorge and i and didn't know my name. so he tagged it as "jorge garcia and sidekick 22" and i loved it so much it stuck. (thanks, mr. o).
i'm thinking of sewing together a cape and fighting crime under that name now.
I agree with Mr Spooner-somebody is going to take it ASAP. (Unfortunately that's how the blog world works) Such a bummer! Love the picture-it's very cute.
Dude, for the kids' book we should be drawn as superheroes. You can be Sidekick 22, Marla can be Rescue 911, and I'll be Fahrenheit 451. Or maybe I'll just be 227.
