here are some pics from extra work i did on season 5 as an ajira passenger.
inside the plane set. the camera shook and we totally did the "star trek" move of leaning left and right and bouncing in our seats to make it look like we were crash-landing. that was a lot of fun!

screencap from scene at mokuleia beach. that purple mesh sweater was the worst! i had net-like tan lines on my arms!

my favorite part was being made up all bloody:
and here are just some random pics from season 3 (2007), when i first moved to hawaii.

Now I have to go back and watch the episode again.
Oh, hey. I'd love to be an extra AND I need a boyfriend. Think you could hook me up?!! (I'm 56 but like younger men.)
hey, i saw the pics from the ajira flight a couple month ago on your facebook. pretty cool. :)
ebay!
Oh how fun. I know you are probably over the whole Look of it all, but that would be worth a major contest winning.
Thank you for sharing your personal look at LOST.
Haha. I love the belly shot!
Wow, very nice visions! You're on the Island! :-)
I want very much to go, to Hawaii! This is my dream!
How would Jorge handle You with a Belly? Sorry, curious like a cat, but I'm not coming after your rats...eewww!! :)
Any thoughts of kids besides Nunu?
I love dem pictures!
You got some cute ears, Missy!
Being an extra is great! Good money for doing next to nothing. I was one in a movie once that was being shot here in Nova Scotia. I was the shadowy, back of the jacket person on the sidewalk at night.
I wont even mention the movie (Julie Walking Home) because I'm sure none of you have seen it let alone heard of it.
That is awesome! Lost is one of the best shows ever made. Did you meet Jorge on the set as an extra? I think if I could hang out with anyone for a day it would either be Hurley or John Locke.
smiley - um, no. not anytime soon, that's for sure. still wanna enjoy the freedom of my twenties before i have that huge of a responsibility.
joan - thanks! i love my ears. i fold them in all the time and i think that has made them stick out more over the years.
audrey - nah, we met 3 years ago when i was still living in LA and he had been in town for the weekend.
It looks like you are wearing the same purple sweater from the beach on the ajira flight.
Cool pictures. It's so awesome to see all the behind the scenes stuff. I'm sure you're aware that there was a slight blooper in the editing of "Namaste", and you ended up moving back and fourth from where Sun was. Only us nerds notice these things :) - not as bad as a sound engineer being caught in the shot, as happened later in the episode.
wordlife15,
yeah, i noticed that as well. in fact, while they were shooting it they kept having me move, and i knew right then that it wasn't going to make sense. but i guess it gave me more screen time!
